The Brigitte starter-pack: bangs, books, and birkenstocks. Peggy Olson-meets-Amelie.

Brigitte (she/her) is an actor and filmmker based in Los Angeles. With a background in experimental & devised theatre rooted in naturalism and Brechtian principles, she brings a collaborative spirit to projects of all genres and mediums.

Acting credits include HBO Miniseries I Know This Much Is True, directed by Derek Cianfrance. Most recently she’s worked on myriad AFI & UCLA grad films and independent projects. Onstage in New York she’s performed at The Public Theater and in readings at Playwright’s Horizons and The Cherry Lane. She’s also been seen clowning and tumbling across stages at The Broadwater and The Elysian Theaters in Los Angeles.

Her second original short They Were Very Close Friends is in post-production now - an 18th century sapphic romcom co-created with her real-life girlfriend, for which Brigitte got to exercise another of her passions of historical fashion, hand-sewing many of the costumes. You can view a snippet of the project here. She was awarded the Great Performances Artistic Fellowship for her first original short film Sweetie Pie, which you can watch and learn about here.

In her free time she is an avid backpacker (recent trips include summiting Mt Whitney and 44 miles along Pictured Rocks Ntl Lakeshore) and volunteers with animal rescue group Luxe Paws to foster and socialize cats and kittens from the streets of LA.

She holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
